Painted in 2025

It was a gaming life lite year, my regular opponent's grandson had football on Saturdays and that is the only day that works for the both of us. When his grandson's team got eliminated and freed up his Saturday, his wife decided that now that hhis Saturdays were free the could now do the stuff they did on Sundays could now be done Saturdays.

Not a lot got painted the entire year.

Lack of motivation was the primary effect. Apparently I need a reason to paint stuff.

That said.

I was scheduled to run a Wild west game ion December. I felt I needed more Indians, as I wanted something different than a town shoot out. After much searching I found that Wargames Foundry would be the best mix with my Old Glory and Wargames Foundry Cowboys/Townsmen.

OMG they are expensive, 2 packs (16 Figures) was $97 Shipping included, they sent 2 gift figure s, a medieval archer (I guess since some of the apache had bows someone thought it was close enough) and duplicate Apache.

I got them done pretty quickly in November, but then as December started I got sick and stayed sick for 3 weeks and had to cancel.

I have been looking at other sets, mainly fantasy One Page rules being the main one but also Battle Cry. For some reason fantsy rules now the main ranged weapons seem to be guns, not bows, and there aint a lot of Gun armed troops that don't look like Conquistores, and I wanted some. Kit bashing seemd the best option. I had half a box of Oathmark Human Infantry and a box of Warlord games Scots Coventers, I got somewhere. I thought about using muskets from some of Napoleonic figures bits, but Pictured those a too Advanced for the way the weapons are described.

They look OK and I can also use them for 2nd ed. Dragon Rampant as one 12 figure unit and 1 six figure unit or threes 6 figure units.
