Perry Dragoons (mounted), done!
Took forever for me to get these done, but done they are.
Chronicling my wargaming activities. It will deal mostly with my attempts at terrain making, model building, figure painting and AARs (after action reports). I collect World War 2 and Victorian Colonial (British, Zulu and Generic Arabs)in 1/72 Scale, several small 6mm Napoleonic armies (no pun intended) French, British, Portuguese and Austrian, Wild West in 28mm, and some science fiction in 28-30mm.

Perry Dragoons (part 2) the horses
Finished the horses, even based and clear coated.
I tried a different way to paint the horses. I painted base coated them a dark Brown, then a heavy dry brush of white and light colours, then washed them with a variety of Brown and black washes. It gave an OK look, but was no faster and all the horses are kind of the same colours, so I think I'll go back to my usual method.
Now I will have to channel my inner Vlad Tepes of Wallachia and impale the riders.

Perry Dragoons (Part 1) The dismounted guys
I also picked up a box of Perry Miniatures French Dragoons and an extra sprue of the dismounted dragoons.
I banged these guys out, last weekend.

More 28mm French (part III)
Finished another batch of Perry Miniature's French line infantry.
I decided to paint all the figures in great coats.
Here is every thing I have painted so far.
All I have left to paint is the Drummer, Eagle bearer, the officer and the the six figures in action poses.
And this popped up on my door step the other day.

28mm Frenchmen
With my purchase of a box of Perry miniatures French Line Infantry. I thought I should get some paint on them.
I will use them for "Chosen Men" from Osprey Games, or any other skirmish set, I want to try out.
In chosen Men, units are multiple of 5 figures for Light Infantry or Cavalry and Line Infantry are In multiples of 10 men.
I also ordered a box of Perry Dragoons, but they aren't here yet.
I had some free time last week so I painted a Line Infantry group of 10 figures. They wont win any awards, but (I think) are a solid war game standard.
The last 28mm figures I painted were some WW2 Soviets, these guys are a little more colourful and the last French infantry I painted are a slightly smaller scale.

| Their pants aren't quiet as Grey as they appear in this picture, and the bases won't be finished until I can do them all at the same time |
